That high yellow one is insane. Can you tell if they will be like that when they are babies?

All amel ruthies hatch with white....some turn yellow with age.....
I haven't figured out a way to tell which ones will grow up to be yellow though......
One year I need to breed a high yellow to a high yellow and raise all their offspring to see if they will all turn high yellow.....

I wish we could tell, I am holding back all my amels to see if I have any adults that produce some high yellows. Considering all I have are adult hets. I am also working on the same project with nelsoni. Those high yellow tricolor amels are the best!
John, are those all the babies you picked up this past fall/winter?
