Cool, Nice looking snake too. Darker than I was expecting them to be, but really cool looking. Do you know if this is the same morph that Kerby was labeling purple passion?

Yeah I'd say it is the same morph that Kerby was recently showing off. You can somewhat see the snake's pattern on the one I have, and it's pattern is pretty typical of a lot of hypermelanistic cali kings I've seen. And I've never seen a cal king like this before, LOL, it's what I'd imagine a lavender blizzard would look like though.

I am not the one that came up with the name purple passion. But purple passion in cal kings is one that is displaying both lavender and hypermelanism at the same time.

Are there variances, you betcha.

I started my own line by breeding a Mendota (hypermelanistic)to a Lavender, thus producing double hets. I also bred a Blizzard to a Lavender producing triple hets. That is where my Purple Passion came from.
