Floridana breeding question

wbcrows Apr 06, 2012 07:45 AM

Should I expect to get normals and hypos if I cross a hypo flame with a ghost?

Also lets see some of your floridana pics....I'll try and post some this weekend

You will get all hypos . Those hypos will be het for ghost because they carry the axanthic gene.

Rainer, I'm guessing that's either an axan or ghost in the back round but whats the whitish floridan upfront?

and while I have you, the hypo flame crossed to a lav albino(t correct)?

the whitish Florida is a Bone White hypo.

and while I have you, the hypo flame crossed to a lav albino(t correct)?

Now sure what your question is here. Maybe because this sites format does not allow for plus signs and negative signs to show up on a post...

A lav albino is a T pos and a true (red eye) albino is referred to as a T neg.

Sorry, yes I did use the plus sign. What should I expect crossing the flame hypo to the lav albino(t positive)

And the bone white is an awesome animal

PS the I have both the t pos and t neg from you. Doing well although for some reason the pair of t negs are more hostile then any of my other floridianas. Have no idea why, still musk and strike me year or so later

Well ultimatly a double homo from the Flame line would make awesome hybinos.

but the flame line into the Lavender should be super nice to.

Basically the Flame line will color anything (that is light colored recessive like hypo and lav, T neg) up and make it more orange red.
