big clutch

varanid Apr 08, 2012 11:58 PM

well, to me anyhow. 17 eggs was my hypo's final total. 841 pre lay weight, 576 post lay weight. I'm actually in kind of a tight spot; I hadn't finished my fridge incubator, and her clutch is taking up a lot of the small one from last year. I gotta go buy some different tubs for the eggs to go in.

I *think* my WS female is about to lay, and I think my albino is in prey-lay shed. Sadly, I don't think my mosaic took She looked gravid as hell, there was a lot of mating but she got slender looking again, and is eating, eating, eating, and has never even done a pre lay shed.

We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.

if it is a holbrooki it's a white-wall :P not a white side. I don't think any ohter kings have white side type morphs (could be wrong).

17 is a pretty good clutch for a FL king. The best I've gotten is 15.

I'd keep trying with the mosaic. I've had kings do exactly the same thing, then breed a month later and produce a good clutch.
