Is this a recessive morph?

I've not bred them, but this seems to be the consensus from those that have..."simple recessive". Also refered to as "golden hypo" since the original "Stillwater" label refered to a specific locality rather than the mutation itself, which is now being bred with generic,or non- locality specific animals.

The hypo gene may be recessive, but it is a locality morph.

My favorite bull morph actually.

I have wondered - If the first Stillwater Hypo was found at a rattlesnake round up. How can it be considered "locality"? Did John determine that the animal was captured in the Stillwater area?
