I know this has probably been posted before, so I'm sorry for being repetetive, but I cannot seem to find my answer in searching old posts.
Is OAK a good wood for dart tanks? I thought I read that somewhere, but then I cant find it again.

Yeah, oak is my prime choice in terrarium wood. The roots are actually the best part of the tree. If you can find an already fallen oak, locate some nice pieces from the root section, take them home and clean them up then back them at 400ish degrees for 45 minutes and after they cool they should be great and will last a long time...even under running water (waterfall).

Thanks Falconblade, I remember seeing that somewhere, but couldnt find it. I guess I cant use that search thing on the forums. It's like the search ignored what I was looking for and just gave me a bunch of random posts!
I know where there is a good 100 foot oak that has been down for around 10 years with the root ball in the air! Thanks again for your help.
