Hi I was wondering when is the best month/time to look for milks in Colorado? I have found Gophers/Bulls,Water snakes,garter,hoggs, and rattlers throughout the summer months. Are Milks very limited through a specific time frame?

They are very limited to a specific time frame. Your best time to find milks in CO. would be right now to middle of June. Temperature dependent to be sure.

Where I herp it has taken me years to pinpoint the temps and conditions just right. I have it down to a six degree swing and time of day where I can almost be sure of finding some. As was stated, they are very sensitive to when they can be found with the highest degree of success. Of course, there are always exceptions.
