He probably left it there. He goes by Diamond back Dave. One of the more famous herpers back East. Here's one of his from deep inside the ENP.

Yeah, I think I would do the water hose routine up in there first though, that would probably do the trick..

If that didn't work, I would start carefully cutting it out of there with a grinder and metal cutting carborundum blade on the ol' trusty circular saw..LOL!. A few of those spot welds getting ground down and it would be pretty accessible I bet..

Or heat it with a blow torch from the other side. lol It looks pretty big.

Dropping the whole hood in a pool was my idea, too. But there are probably more critters than just the snake in that hood! Mice and such; really male a mess in the pool! LOL!

Cool picture, I don't think it would be that hard to get it out. I have tricked some snakes out of some tight spots and they nev gave me much trouble.

They probably didn't want to spend too much time there considering Dave is a crote guy. It would have been nice to see the colors on that snake.
