Is this possibly a morph?

dylpro Apr 15, 2012 09:49 PM

I bought this girl off of craigslist going on 3 weeks this coming Friday. She just had her first shed in my care and it went great. Nothing retained, all in one piece. She has yet to bite me (something my Spotted Python seems fond of doing) and is overall great tempered. But after her shed today, she appeared to be a lot lighter in color. I mean a lot! So I'm just wondering if this could be a morph?

Thanks!

Normal...

dylpro Apr 16, 2012 03:36 PM

Ok thanks everyone. I didn't think it was anything else, but it's colouring looked so much different from my other normal once she shed. Thanks though! Guess I shouldn't be disappointed, I bought her for 35 bucks lol.

WHY would you say that?

dylpro Apr 16, 2012 05:08 PM

I got my hopes up thinking it might be something different? Wtf do you mean?

BuzzardBall Apr 16, 2012 07:06 PM

That was directed to SSSnakes! I don't know why someone would tell you that a normal could be a "het for ghost"! Could it? Yes, but it could be het for any recessive gene OR could be just a normal!

dylpro Apr 16, 2012 07:17 PM

Oh sorry. I go on the defensive mode when I think people are getting in my face. Sorry!

Possible het albino, ghost, clown, pied, lavender, pick a recessive trait. They would all look like normals would they not?

dylpro Apr 16, 2012 09:07 PM

Well it really doesn't matter to me. This is only going to be my first breeding attempt. The reason I'm doing it with normals is because if I don't like it I'm not too deep into it with buying morphs and such. If I like then I'll start investing in some morphs. I really want to get some lucys! So hopefully I can get a hold of some fires or mojaves.

Thanks everyone!
