MIchaelfm Apr 16, 2012 09:18 PM

I was suprised and disappointed to day by the Hypo Motley litter born today. She had 12 young which only 5 survived the rest still born. Here are pics of the 5 and the only one amazing Hypo Motley that survived. Keeper for sure. Thanks for looking Mike

Well congrats on the litter . . sorry for the still borns, that always hurts !

Make sure you keep them nice and extra warm and extremely humid so they
use up those yolk bellies . . . don't want it to harden up !

That's a unique looking motley.

I hadn't seen any with saddles like that before. It's
interesting the variability you see when you mix hypos and
motleys.

I would still be very happy with that litter.
Last year I only got one litter, it was a moonglow X albino motley. Only 3 babies were alive with 23 slugs. And 2 of the babies died in the first 24 hrs. But at the end of the day I was still very happy with one sunglow het anery baby. Sometimes these things happen, but you have to be greatful for what you get. Nice hypo mot.
