something interesting, maybe...

Rainbow world,

A while ago I picked up a pair of very interesting looking rainbows at a local exotics expo. The origin is unknown and the vender simply told me he picked them up wholesale from a kid. In the group there was 1.2 that looked very different to me, the rest of the group looked normal. I didn’t haggle the price at all and bought 1.1 immediately. Another breeder friend of mine picked up the remaining female when he saw how interested I was in them. His female died shortly after he brought it home. Mine are doing great but my male is about twice the size of the female, she is a picky eater and I haven’t been able to get her on f/t yet. Here is a picture I took of them when I first got them. My hold back eclipsed animal is in the photo for comparison.

I was originally calling them pastels because of the amount of yellow in them and the nicer colors, although there was nearly no red. This photo was taken of the male, Kyle that I took after I got some meals in him and got him health. They where a little dehydrated when I got them.

Now this photo I just took, approximately a year old. My eclipsed holdback Edward and hypo Zulu is in the photo for comparison. I am thinking this little guy is growing to have a very Anery look to it although they did not look like Anery babies, any thoughts? FYI, this is right after a shed.

Thank you for your time, John Wiseman

Welllll, IMO it's interesting and wonder if it could be something co-dominant. Definitely worth taking the gamble to see what happens. I don't see the "Anery look" you refer to though, My anery's are fairly brown with less color and white crescents.

All in all, could be cool, only breeding trials will tell.

I thought you might say that. I wanted to make a comparison to the ghost CRB but I hate to use that term in reference to the BRBs because a ghost (anery x hypo) is right around the corner.

Looks a lot like what we call our chocolate line brazilians... should be interesting to see what they can do with our albinos.
