So Much for Not Breeding this Season...

All three of my adult female pyros and even my adult bull snake, and possibly even one of my gopher snakes, are looking very gravid! A thing they all do is sort of hoist their heavy bellies over things, like their hide boxes, sort of like a pregnant lady propping her belly up with a pillow. In lieu of the draping over objects thing they elevate their bellies on a high spot in the bedding. Everybody has lay boxes set up and some are in pre-lay shed already.

I sure do hope she has babies this year. Last year she didn't have anything even though she locked up. I theorize the male from last year used up his spunk on her sister and by the time he got to her it was not containing enough sperm. This year she has mated with two males.
