A few annectens

alstotton May 04, 2012 08:14 AM

A few annectens pics taken recently, inc. a few new combo's

First up a nice illustration of phenotypical variation both pattern and colour wise within "normal's"

Het patternless (high 'applegate' pheno influence)

Het Patternless (wild bloodline pheno influence)

Multi Het ( patternless / albino hi red / albino applegate / T+)

special "dark eye" Albino.
Very difficult to catch well/true in a photo with its soft pastel oranges and *greenish neck patterning.

*Jason I know you'll be with me on how hard this greenish tone is to catch acurately on a pic*

Next up is something a little bit special IMO, especially considering the amount of years breedings and genetics involved.

Somewhat of a pituophis.co.uk exclusive I guess , although Big shouts Must go out to John Micheals here!

PARENTS:

Male
1st Gen het Micheals patternless.(patternless x albino applegate)
non recent pic

Female
Bred from my high red bloodline for increasing red % x original (f2)Winkler euro hypo
non recent pic

This lovely 2011 albino offspring is sibling of the multi het in my first post.
Well here She is, hope you like her.I'm real impressed on how that red (which I spent years striving for) is already popping on her, especially where the dark / purple ends.

Great looking SDs Al.

Any new SD projects this year.

Cheers Jason

I certainly always appreciate the opinions on yourself and all the guys on here.

In terms of newer projects I'm sure hoping to replicate that new looking T positive with the red.

Not sure if you recall the double albino I hatched a few seasons and we spoke on the phone about her.Well she's looking heavily gravid at the mo.

I'm also working towards a yellow albino line with this girl also gravid.

Looks like a hypo mate.

alstotton May 06, 2012 05:12 PM

It certainly does look hypoesque, until its next to a hypo then it looks different.
I think once that red starts to intensify it will be a real cool looker.

Nice one Al! Must be a brother/sister of those patternless not?
