Hi, after a few years with Ball Pythons, and a few Gopher Snakes I was looking at a "12" Kahl Albino, at a Reptile Shop (not a Pet Shop so I guess they would know what they are talking about) and when the man picked one up to hand it to me he said they are still young and have not gotten to their "Nippy" stage yet. In the past I recall seeing a few yearlings that also seemed quite "Nippy", but yet I know the BCI's seem like they are really more of a docile snake as adults.
So my question is, is their a "Nippy" stage that Boa's go through, and then tend to calm down in time? If so does it last long?
Thanks...
