I feel silly

My mosaic shed over 12 days ago and I was getting nervous because I hadn't seen a clutch. I decided to go in and see if I could change her nest area up to make it more appealing...and found a clutch of perfect eggs (6 or 7, hard to tell with how they're adhered) buried. It looks like they'd been there for several days too. I've gone ahead and put them into the incubator, mostly so no flies, ants, etc. get to them since we've had a lot of those this year.

We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.

That's great! Also just goes to show how important a moist hide is for nesting; the eggs didnt dry up even after several days.
