Week I of births of our 2011/2012 season

perfectpredators May 06, 2012 03:13 PM

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having tons of luck and lots of fun this season. I want to share some cool things now that babies are starting to pop.

Week 1- Litter 1: Our baby birth portion of the breeding season began for us Sunday 4/29 when a “Triple-Het Bloody Sunglow” x “Triple-Het Bloody Sunglow” gave way to a decent litter of 14 babies, 1 stillborn and 3 slugs. Interesting litter as there was a Ghost Boa and a Pewter Boa was found in the litter. The stillborn was Plasma. There was 2 bloody salmons, 2 sunglows and an albino. Also 1 Bloody Albino/Sunglow born however kinked and died within hours. The parents of this litter were born themselves from an Albino het Anery mom and we were fortunate to have proven a sexual pair to be Quad-Het as they are now identified as Hypos het for Anery, Blood, and Albino. Even though we missed out on the goal, there are still a few more chances at later in the season. Pictures:

Week 1- Litter 2: 5/2 our 2nd litter of the baby season was born. It was from the breeding of a Paradigm female to a Motley het sharp and 17 babies were born. 6 Motleys, 11 normals with zero being paradigms or sharps. She was bred last year by a Jungle het Boa Woman and had a perfect litter of 20 12 being paradigms, paradigm jungles, boa woman, bwc jungles. Here are pictures of mom ovulating with father of litter and baby Pictures:

I could of benefited from some better luck these first 2 litters but theres still a lot of season left and hope our best days are ahead.

Thank you to everyone for looking. Next week I’ll post anymore litter picks and post shed pics of some of the babies from here!
Again thank you for looking!

Those are some beautiful babies Manny! I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck with the second litter though, that hurts! Those woulda been beautiful.

Regardless of the outcome, babies are better than pills, regardless of make/model.

Looking forward to seeing more of your crazy combinations over the rest of the baby season!

Better luck next time, are you sure about that motley?

I had a bad odds litter last year but at least 3 sharps showed
up. I would be Eye-rate, I say Eye-rate if that happened to me.

I'd bet money that the rest of your stuff this year will
more than make up for it.

Congrats on the litters Manny! Definitely not the best odds, but you'll probably make up for it elsewhere and besides those are some nice motleys!

Nice babies! I wanted to tell you your new website is top notch! Mucho bueno mi amigo!
Id have to say, one of the top websites out there. It looks good to the eye when you get to home page. Not too much info on each page and the stuff you really want to see is easy to get to. Good info, nice pictures and plenty of them. What else can I say, but awesome!
I like it allot. If I ever do a website I will tell my webmaster to check yours out.
Great job. Nice collection ya have there.
Best wishes for another stellar year.

Thank you so much Mike. I think much of the wait for the site was worth it, it was started and halted then re-hashed then shut down, easily 3-4 times between 2007 and now. I am glad we are finally live and I hope now i can keep it as current as possible.

Thanks again..

Manny
