hypo/motley gene question

Jbbean1369 May 07, 2012 07:34 AM

I was reading in another forum (which I don't always believe what I read) that when you breed a hypo motley to a normal the offspring will be 1/2 motley and the other 1/2 hypo, no hypo motley and no normals, I've never heard this before, but as I am preparing for my first breeding next year I want to be 100% sure, and get the info from a reputable breeder, my pairing will be a hypo jungle motley pos het anery to a coral albino pos het anery, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed they both prove out, but if not oh well, as long as the babies are healthy, anyway any help would be appreciated, thanks

Yes that is typically the out come , I believe there may have been an exception here and there . . . . very rare though.

If you get either normals or hypo motleys, please post the results.
