This is my first year attempting to breed boas. I just started introducing them about a month ago. They started showing major interest the past few days, and I'm hoping the male figures it out sooner than later.
I know their natural breeding season is app Oct-Feb. Someone told me that "off-season" breeding usually ends in slugs, still borns, and/or deformities. Is this information correct? From the research I've done, a few breeders have great results year round. I breed my ball pythons year round and haven't had any issues; though, I'm unsure if these two can even be compared.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also if the info is false, what could cause all slugs/still borns/etc?
