I recently read in Reptiles mag about a New Mexico herp expo in
Albuquerque. I think it said it was on October 19th and 20th. Does anyone here live in this area or know anything about this. Its not on the Events section here anywhere. I was just wondering if it is going to be so small time that its not worth the 3 hour drive from where I live. But if its supposed to be pretty big than I would go up there since theres not much herp society activity in these parts... It would be nice to go to a real show for once.

Also is there anyone on the forums here from the las cruces, new mexico or el paso area here? I know archemedes in las cruces, psilocybe in las cruces and blazin reptiles in el paso, tx... anyone else?

I have been to that show. Its ok. Nothing spectacular but I love herps and its the closest show to me so I go. You might be a little disappointed but I like the drive so it doesn't bother me. Also Alburquerque has a really nice Zoo so if you go to the show early you can always stop in at their awesome Zoo and Aquarium!

Cool, Ill probably end up going then. I was just worried that I might go and there would only be 5 vendors or something. Im hoping to pick up a breeder blizzard there. As long as there will be a decent amount of people there I'm sure it would be worth the trip since you would have to drive to phoenix or dallas or something to go to a decent show otherwise. Are you going this year?
