Couple of nice jani I've kept back, mainly for the reduced melanin traits

This male has to be the closest thing I've ever seen to hypomelaninism in jani after many many hatchlings.He just looks more hypo with every slough and was very unique compared to his litter mates.

These are my keepers from last year, at 10 months of age.
Orange.
Heaps of color and cool "saddles".
Orange, speckled, and reduced black.
Great speckles, a bit of a lateral stripe, and weird color.

I love the speckled one, very close to one I have here for a friend.
The variation is very cool in jani youngsters.

Those are turning out really nice. Mine hasn't developed a whole lot of color yet, but I'm sure he'll come around. He refused to eat the whole month of April for some reason, but has since returned to his normal feeding routine.
