Also is it rapidly loosing weight? A pic would help to see how healthy it looks. What foods have you tried? How did you offer the food...live or dead? Like said in the previous post.....more info

It's that time of year...especially for yearling males. They will often stop eating for a while during the breeding season.
Just monitor his weight and he should start back up when he wants to.

Thats Ball Pythons for you. Yes lots of times having their enviroment set up just the right way may help or hurt but I find as much as anything they just go through times of eating and fasting. I have a male SuperPastel that only eats about 4 months out of the year so from the time he stops until he starts again he tends to slim down a bit but believe it or not by the time it rolls around to the next breeding season and he has spent afew months eating he always weighs more than he did the season before. You will get females doing that too. I have had a female Ivory that just ate enough this last year to maintain her weight as best and now she has started eating like a pig so she will be breeding soon. She hung around 950 grams and now in 3 months or so she is up to almost 1300 grams. Crazy aren't they...

A yearling bp should be eating small rats! I think your meals are too small!
