Litter 7: Hytec and Aztec Het Anery

LucasMatlock May 12, 2012 08:26 AM

There is a very interesting story with this litter that i would like to share with everyone. As you can see the litter was far from perfect with the overwhelming majority of the litter consisting of slugs, SORRY to letting everyone down (MR BOAPHILE) but i am far from perfect when it comes to breeding boas however i am constantly trying to improve.

OK the story goes like this:
I had my to hytec male in with a gorgeous pastel dream female and he was trying and trying and trying to breed her for months but she would not let him in. One evening when i was cleaning cages and when i put him in the the cage right next to the pastel dreams cage for 5 minutes at most to clean, 5 minutes later i went to put him back in with the pastel dream female and he was visibly courting one of my ivory anery girls. Since this wasn't a plan litter i checked on them every few minutes and after about 2 hrs at most they were separated and i pulled him. That is right he was with the ivory anery female that produced this litter for 2 total hours that is it.

Has anyone else had similar situations when breeding these little guys?

I got 7 babies with 1 hytec het ivory anery and 1 aztec het ivory anery

Congrats on a 2 hour litter! We'll just have to keep working on being one of those perfect breeders Lucas. In the mean time, you are doing a GREAT job!
