I had a strong suspicion that this male I produced back in 2009 would turn out to be an awesome stunner. This is definitely one of my favorite kings from my "high-yellow" line..

Awesome colors, tone, and eye-catching beauty! Very neat, and compliments the other smoking brooks you have!

No doubt, that is a nice one too. Hey, did you ever get any other greenish ones after that one you produced?
-----

DMong May 12, 2012 09:18 PM

Thanks Ross. Yes, I did produce one or two that I thought would probably be very green, but I sold one of them last season. But I did keep back a young 2011 male here that I'm raising up that is very green already that should be a great candidate for her, as well as other females in the group too later on.

Man Doug that thing is bright! Your thoughts were dead on. Congrats on that one, now just produce some more so everyone can open a tub and have to put shades on.
-----

DMong May 13, 2012 12:07 AM

HAHA!!,....yeah, I am definitely hoping to produce more that are similar to him in the future, as well as more high-yellows and greens too. The possibilities with these have been mind-blowing thus far, and I'm sure they will continue to be. Should be some very cool stuff this season from these and some of the others, not to mention many milks and some very unique locality ratsnake morphs too.

Sounds like you should have a great year, those moonshine rats are breeding this year?

DMong May 13, 2012 11:50 AM

I'm waiting on a couple sheds anytime now for the locality moonshines!..

LOL!!,....Yeah, he is really intense golden colored for sure. You should produce some interesting stuff too, and later selectively breed some of the super looking phenotypes as well.

Good luck with them..
