Get sunglasses before opening.....

Ever get that feeling when you KNOW you shouldn't sell a boa, but you go against your gut feeling and do it anyways.....

I know this is one of those boas that I am going to have nightmares about in the near future. I had every intention of keeping him for my own greedy self, never even posted him for sale! But a random email with a "too good to say no" offer got me....

I haven't even shipped him yet, and I'm already regretting agreeing to a deal. Almost makes me sick looking at this guy..... Even a too good to say no offer still doesn't seem like enough! lol

Lipstick x Lovell line sunglow motley, going to a new home next week =(

Disgusts me.... Going to be hanging my head in shame for a while....

Tony

Wow! I hope that the sale price was enough to cover a few years of therapy. You're going to need it when the full weight of letting that critter go settles in.

What an amazing animal.

What an amazing critter. Those connected saddles only appear to be broken up down near the vent, and the color is incredible. Welcome to the "wish I hadn't sold that one" club though.

I am really surprised that you let this one go Tony!

Wow, he is absolutely stunning!

I caught myself multiple times checking out your classifieds just to check him out.

I really like the male Motley Albino as well!

Killer litter you got there!

Thanks for sharing!

Its a shame to see him go!

At least you are a man of your word. Yea, it's going to be a sad day when you ship him out, however, at least you didn't go back on your word. One lesson I learned from my Father a long time ago,( because he did the same thing with a pro street camaro) when you make a deal, verbal, written , handshake whatever it be, you ALWAYS keep your word.
I have made a deal or two that I said, "why did I do that" but at that end of the day, the thing that softened the blow was the fact I knew I was doing the right thing by standing by my word.
I agree you may (will) regret it, especially when one day 5 years from now you see how awesome he grew up to be, but that's the way the boa bounces.
By the way, one of thee nicest sunglow mot's I have ever seen. It would be hard to say I have seen one nicer.

It may be hard to let a "premium" animal leave the facility. But one day (years from now) that defining animal will have matured and reproduced. The industry could have switched to the latest trend but a premium can always bring an entusiast back to their origins in this industry. People all over the forum will be asking questions about the heritage, it's originators and how it is impossible to expect that much color in years to come when negotiating price. It is on that day when you will realize the little impressionable mark you have made on this industry. No matter how small the mark, it always feels good...
