I went herpin today (photos)

Sadly I only saw one small garter snake which easily eluded me and my camera. I did get a few nice shots of a Leopard Frog though, so I thought I would share them. Why can't snakes pose like frogs? Oh, I threw in a photo of a cool beetle and a male cardinal that built a nest in my backyard. Thanks for looking!

National Geographic quality shots!

I have been finding all sorts of neat animals but my camera wont work on the battery pack, only the externa power cord, so am limited by length of extension cord.

Thanks Bob! I'm very happy with how the frog photos turned out. The frog and beetle photos were taken handheld with my macro lens. That's usually a disaster for me aka Mr. Shakey hands

Too bad you missed the snake, but your photos are superior!
