Info on Kane Heat Mats

Hey Gang
I want to upgrade my big girls cage and heat source. I have purchased a Vision 632 cage for her and a Kane 18X28 Heat mat. How should this mat be used in the cage? Yes it will be controlled by a thermostat. Any tips,tricks or info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks John

Hello, I used them for a number of years in my six foot cages. I used a Ranco Ther. with them with good results. They are fantastic if your animals are being kept in a cooler area. Just check them often.... if your therm. sticks on they can get REALLY hot. I changed out to low heat flexwatt for safety sake... that all said, my boas bred well using those pads!
