Albinos het anery??

fulton768 May 22, 2012 11:47 AM

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums but I've been lurking for awhile now, figured I'd join the fun! Anyways, I was wondering how to tell if an albino is possibly het for anery. Anyone have any pointers?? Thanks, Eric

There are no markers to show if a albino is het anery/snow. The only way to tell is by the parents.

Bummer. Ive seemed to notice that albinos that are het for anery have very light colored/white heads. Maybe it's irrelevant.

These two are both het for anery. Generally speaking I hear
people talk about a certain opaqueness in their eyes, the motley
seems to have it but my coral albino doesn't. They're both anery
hets.

I'm hoping that this one proves out. She's 66% het for anery.
Her eyes appear to have that opaque quality to them.

My girl doesn't have that look unfortunately, she's got the typical ruby reds
