Red tegu diet question

gollum Oct 04, 2003 09:19 PM

I'm going to make some meatballs to give to my tegu. And i was thinking of adding in some fruits to get him to eat some more. does anyone have any suggestions? Also, any suggestions on what fruits to feed him without having to mix into the ground meat?

The red i have will eat red grapes that have been cut in half.( I don't know why he prefers them cut) as well as strawberries and mango, Good luck farther down in the posts someone put a website where it lists foods for tegus so here it is for you.

Hey beau, I forgot to tell you that he likes mangos. I guess you found out - I think they're his favorite fruit. He probably likes the grapes cut in half because he can taste the juices first. I got my blue today! I'll post more about him later once he's acclimated. See ya.
