Tyrrell Co. NC temporalis clutch & more

Dniles May 28, 2012 09:21 AM

Just got another clutch from my Tyrrell county animals. And the female still looks great after two clutches this year. There were more slugs in both clutches than I would like but what can you do?

Here is my prized female with her clutch

Here she is right after laying - has pretty good body weight I would say

and a couple of close ups so you can see how intense that red is

Here is a 09 holdback male from this girl as well

And here is an 11 female holdback. I like the wider black band look too on these guys. After months of tailing, this girl started eating whole pinks in January and has really taken off since then

Hope you enjoyed!

Wow you are killing it this year, congrats on another wonderful clutch! I always like them, well heck if the word "triangulum" is in their name I like it. I don't think I have seen a milk I didn't like.LOL

BTW, she did double clutch and as I type this she is in the nest box. I hoping if not there is always next year....Those males from last year are pounding 2 and 3 pinks at a time. Even the anery.

Awesome dude. I hope you get a good clutch from that Gentilis this time. All my females that didn't do well their first clutch for me this year did better the second time around so I hope that holds true for you.

Get that male anery up to size to breed to that double het!!! That will be a killer clutch.

Oh and one more thing...post some pics of that anery when you can. I'd like to see what he looks like now.

I can see why you call her "prized." Congrats on the 2nd clutch.

Awesome Dave!! Those and calverts are my favorite looking temps due to what you had mentioned. (the heavy black band in conjunction with the white and bright red). VERY nice animals bro. I too have been getting a slugvest over here but thought mine was due to my temperature experiments. Maybe it wasn't!! Anyway, good luck with those little rippers Dave, I know you have it down to a science now.

Obvious you are a fan of the hand/snake photos... like that hold back male in particular.
