Just wondering what your thoughts on a seller you make a deal with

you send him money(pay pal was offered as a deposit or purchase)

and he says he is selling to some one else then states that they

can not come up with the money so the litter is mine again. I kept

in touch with the person and held my end of the bargain. He

received payment and states he is going to return the un-opened

envelope and is not going to ship me the litter. I thought this

person was very reputable but I was wrong. Any and all input is

appreciated.

Anyone who does not follow through their part of an agreement is a shister.

Apparently, your money has been/will be returned, so I don't think there is any legal recourse you can take.

I would think there should be someplace where people can go; similar to the BBB for herps - to check out other people's experiences with dealers..if not perhaps something like that should be generated - perhaps that would be a good topic on this forum?
