just moved to Va, state laws??

I just moved to Portsmouth VA, I've been looking for laws regarding owning and selling boas, everything I've found so far is dealing with wild caught and native species, I know the laws they tried to pass to ban them failed, thankfully, just wondering if someone could point me to the right place or already knows, thank you
