Evidence to my lack of attention to this forum, I have been doing a lot more flying lately.
Last month I placed a decent sized order with RodentPro and the shipping came out to over $200. So, instead of paying FedEx to bring to to me, I thought why not more than triple the cost and use that money toward flight time? So I flew out and picked up the order in person! It was a fun trip, though I had to dodge a few developing thunderstorms on the way home.
Here's the plane sitting on the ramp in Evansville, IN.

Had to get these pics of my car next to the plane when I got back. Man those heavy boxes are awkward to get in and out of a small plane, lol!

Went on another trip this past weekend in the good old Piper Arrow: Traverse City, Michican. Took the short-cut over Lake Michigan, so had to pack water survival gear in case the plane went down. Man that is a big lake!
Upon arrival, we got top of the line service! Rental car met us on the ramp and had two line men tie it down and help us unload. Setting a good impression as I've worked at an FBO for 6 years and know what service should be like. Unfortunately at many FBOs, the small planes don't get treated nearly as well as the biz jets.

The purpose of this trip was for me to get trained in a multi-engine airplane. Long story short, I got my rating! So now I am a Commercial Multi, Instrument rated pilot!! Woo!
Here is the 1950s Piper Apache that I did my training in:

Despite the absolute gorgeous scenery up there, I didn't get hardly any pictures. I was so busy and worn out that I either didn't have the time, or didn't have the energy. I wish I would have taken more pics, especially when we shut down one engine in flight... that was so weird! Oh well, at least I have the memories!
