This is going to sound stupid, but can you post a pic/description? I'm trying to figure out if this infrared thingie I got at Radioshack is the same sort of thing or not.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

Not stupid at all.I use the Radio Shack version of the temp gun. It works just fine. The belt clip on it is a plus as well.

Its very small, and even has a little key ring attachment! Its called the "microtemp". I think you can look at it on www.tempgun.com

Youre very resouceful! I never would have thought to try Radio Shack!

OK, that's what I've got, but without the keyring. Mine's only accurate to /- 4 degrees according to the manual, so that's kind of why I was wondering. (It seems more accurate that that to me)

Me either, i go by what the monitors are doing, not by the temps.

I do use it in the field, as you can scan thousands of spots in a short time. Oh and I really use it in the mouse room. Thats were its at now. F

Ra_tzu Oct 05, 2003 09:13 PM

Why not use it with your monitors, just for tha hell of it?? Hahahahahahaha
Lucky you, to have your own "mouse room" Why not the "Rat room"?
Why the mouse room though? Are your mice dropping like flies? Slower than your monitors? Hahahahahahahaha! Your thoughts, Ratstew

my thoughts are, you seem to be a very funny person. Look at all the stuff you insinuated without any knowledge of what I am doing. The only thing dropping like flys, are flys.

Maybe reality is a bit tough for you? Maybe you think to much without doing, maybe your hired to cause trouble, hahahahahahahaha hey this is fun. Maybe you should, hold on now, you didn't say maybe. OK, strike the maybe's.

The answer is so very simple, because thats where its needed.

Ok, I really would answer more of your posts, but, I have to go swat flys, hahahahahahahaha F

Yeah. I'll admit it, you got me. My cover is all blown! I have been receiving 5 dollars a week from an unidentified party that is plotting against you. I don't know the exact specifics as to who this party is or why they're doing it. Although I do believe it is a secret underground group of monitor breeders and business owners that have banded together and feel very threatened by every aspect of your being and monitor breeding abilities.
I was just told what to do.

Those definitely are fun. I zapped everyone coming in through my door, when I first got one. Just to see who was cold blooded.

When I zapped fr, I grabbed him by the neck and threw him into the chimney, so he could thermoregulate.
