Northern Pine Snake Laying Eggs Today

tspuckler Jun 02, 2012 01:01 PM

Her first half-dozen were set up all in a row.

This is the first year that this snake is producing for me.

Eventually I got a total of nine eggs.

She has done a good job there! It is amazing how scrawny the mamas look after laying, and how fast they bounce back.

Very Cool. I have a female that looks very similar to yours that I hope to breed next year. How old/large is yours? Mine is a 2009 and is right at four feet in length and has good weight. I've never bred Pines before so I want to get it right.

I'd recommend 6 feet. They have large eggs. Mine put down medium rats before I first bred them.
