couple kings and some eggs

mikefedzen Jun 03, 2012 05:19 AM

the "lil bit of everything" pattern

up close shot of the ghostish cal king female. I need to get some better pics of her but she's still pretty jumpy.

got this reverse stripe cal king female last year before brumation-time, had enough time to jam-pack her full of mice.

her first shed out of brumation was on 4/16, she was the last of my females to shed/breed. She bred with my albino male on the 16th, 17th and 22nd. Pre egg laying shed on 5/21. She was extremely discontent with the nesting box I gave her, even after 11 days, so I put her in a different deeper container packed with moss and put the container in a closet.
When I checked on her the next day she was in the process of laying eggs.

11 in total.

Looks like she approved of her nest upgrade! A very healthy batch of eggs!

Those are some very interesting looking morphs there Mike. I'm sure some nice offspring will come from those eggs..

I used that apricot male that's het albino on 4 females (08' spotted, 08' albino, 06' and 09' normals). The 06' normal laid 9 eggs, the spotted laid 8 eggs, still waiting on the albino and the other normal.

I love that speckled het Ghost. That's a good sized clutch too.
