THE FINAL UPDATE

Maizeysdad Jun 05, 2012 10:52 AM

It's a big day for me. It was 24 months ago today that the first Sterling litter was born. Today, I post the Final Monthly Sterling update.

I've tried to keep everyone posted on their growth and development, so we could all be confident in their health and viability. I'm pleased to report that they are robust and thriving, and as of 5/12/12, Sterling Patternless is a proven reproducible phenotype.

I have always appreciated your support, encouragement, and interest in this project, and I am happy to announce that the first Sterlings to leave my care will be boarding a plane tomorrow.

I believe the best days of boa keeping are in front of us. When I look at some of the things produced this season, and some of the things that many of us envision for future breeding trials, I'm more enthused than ever about boa constrictors, this hobby, and this industry.

Please pardon the crappy indoor pics, but it is raining like the end of the world here today.

Thanks again. Viva La Boalution!!!

Great job in building on your project using great pictures to tell the tale and accomplishing the most important breeding at the earliest possible opportunity. Your stewardship of this project is a great example that too few have had the common sense to follow through on. You are to be commended Mr. Sterling Boas! I am proud of you!
