This albino honduran just laid 18 eggs over the last few hours. Over the years I've had a handful of 15 egg clutches and one 16 egg clutch from other hondurans but this one beats them all. 16 are good, 1 definatly bad and one most likely will go bad. I counted them several times to be sure I had the number right. There are some on the bottom that you can't see in the photo.
She was raised and bred by Rodney J. for a while and he passed her on to me 3 or 4 years ago.
I was shocked at the size of the clutch because she has only laid up to 11 or 12 from what I remember in the past 3 or 4 years.
Might be a record but maybe not?

Holy crap Randy that is insane!!!!

I don't work enough with hondos to know if it's a record but that seems like it's got to be close if not the record. Wow that's crazy.

Holy Moly! That's a big clutch for sure. I've had 15 before, but 18 must be pretty rare. Congratulations.

You know me Rusty. Albino to albino. Her boyfriend is a real wide banded, almost bicolor albino.
Not sure about her weight but not too far under 2000 grams I would guess. I've got a handful of old beasts including her. She was already a beast when I got her from Rodney.

I'll take a shot of him next time I get the camera out.
I did cut back on hondurans but still have several pairs. I have a bad habit of cutting back yet the next year I always seem to have some holdbacks which end up taking up the same tubs I emptied the year before.
Strange how that always happens. lol
