A good day.

I have my first eggs hatching since taking last year off from breeding. A nice clutch of patternless albino bulls were peeking out of their eggs this morning.

As rediculous as it may sound, even the smell of hatching eggs put a smile on my face.

I haven't taken any new pics in FOREVER (this pic is several years old), but this girl is now my pride and joy. She is approaching seven feet long and easily as big around as a baseball. When she was young, she was full of vinegar, but now she's a sweetheart.

Congrats! Very nice contrast and tones on the bull pictured. Time for an updated photo though. Let's see one of that big gal today. Thanks.

How's it going, Billy?!?

Yeah, it's been a while. I kind of unplugged for a bit. How about posting a pic of that whiteside you got from me a few years ago? I'd love to see how he's developed! If I remember right he had coal black eyes. Funny thing, I didn't breed for any whitesides this year. I may get one or two through some animals carrying that gene, but I didn't breed a single homozygous whiteside this year. I've got a stellar female that's really getting large (approaching six feet), and a two year old male (pictured below) that's not quite as good as the one you got from me that I plan on breeding next season. I've bred TONS of whitesides over the past five years, and it seems that the males are always the best ones. Has anyone else noticed that? That's why I'm pretty stoked about my big female. I'll try to get a new pic of her too.

Take care my friend.

Thank guys.

I will really try to get a pick of her this weekend. Life is getting crazier by the day with two kids in sports, 4-H, dance, acting...cleaning poop! I need more hours in a day!

am i the only one who wants to see the patternless albinos?!?!? lol! nice animals!

Jeremy Pierce Jun 08, 2012 10:48 AM

Well, about that...two of them are out and while both are albino, neither are patternless. I thought by the lack of pattern down on their neck that they were. The parents are both albino and (supposedly) het for patternless. I'm gonna be pretty torqued if I don't get any.

Good to hear from you Jeremy and congrats on the eggs. I agree, the hatching time of year is the best. Beautiful snake as well.
