Staurti pre-lay shed

Lundberg Jun 10, 2012 08:59 AM

Promised some Stuarti pics a few weeks back, but wasn't happy with what I had on file. One of my gravid 2009 F1 Costa Rican's completed her pre-lay shed last night, so here's a couple pics. Her sibling is a few days behind, just going opaque Friday.

That is a STELLAR example of L.t.stuarti Chad!

Is that from Hardwick's Santa Rosa Nat'l Park, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica line?, or did they possibly originate from somewhere else on or near the Nicoya peninsula of Costa Rica?

Whatever the case, that's a beautiful L.t.stuarti.......

Best of luck with a nice clutch and more hatchlings!..

Thanks for posting these pics Chad... she's a real beauty. Gives me a good idea of what to expect.

Still haven't decided for sure if I'll keep all 5 I picked up but the photo of your female gives me another reason to do so.

Thanks again.
