Humidity?

Hoomi Oct 05, 2003 02:40 AM

My book on the Ball Python really doesn't say anything about it, so I was wondering what humidity level some of you find works best for your BP's.

Our local weather has been dry lately, and even with the swamp cooler running, the house is hanging around 40 - 50% humidity. I took a spray bottle and misted the inside of the terrarium, which raised the humidity up into the 90% range, and it seems my python gets more active when I do that.

I'm planning on putting something together that should help keep the humidity in the terrarium a bit higher than the ambient air around here, but I'm interested in the level others keep it at.

Thanks.
