Introducing The Smiley Pieds

FGS Jun 13, 2012 06:37 AM

About 3 weeks ago I hatched out a clutch of pieds from a pied bred to his het pied daughter. From that clutch I produced my first male smiley pied. A few days ago hatched out my second clutch of pieds. This clutch was fathered by the same male bred to another one of his daughters, and this time produced a female smiley pied.

To produce one smiley pied was beyond my wildest dreams, but to produce 2 in back to back clutches was amazing. The very cool thing is the male and female smiley pieds are cousins and half brother and sister.

This is the male I call him Casper. I usually don't name my snakes, but I couldn't help naming these guys.

This is the female I call her Monalisa.

I can't wait to breed these snakes together to see if I can produce more of these happy little guys.

I hope you're all having a great season.

It looks like he might have a couple of teeth knocked out though.

That gives him character.

Thanks for sharing.

Congrats!!! It took me 6 months to find myself the right pied girl. Came home from October Tinley show with this girl. She has a smily/smirk on her tail.
