This baby came from Jason at Envy, and the previous one i picked up at a local show last year. These two are diverse in themselves as far as pattern and color goes.

Don at South Mountain. He has some great looking bulls there. I'm sure he can get a pair out to you this year, just ask to be put on the list, tell him i said hello. Thanks for the great comments Del.

P-RAT has this guy now. I was holding him back, but needed cages for new projects, so he went up north.

Thanks. I'm not knockin' anyone else here, so please don't take this the wrong way, but it sure is nice to see some normal phase bulls for once. It seems no one ever posts pics of them anymore. I certainly don't want to give KJ a bigger head than he already has, but thank god for the Pit page! Thanks for sharing. Nice collection.

gofer May 27, 2003 08:34 PM

Thanks for the nice comments, and i agree it is nice to see normal phase bulls. I don't have too many normal phase pits, plan to have some in the near future, but not just yet...first i'm breeding the morphs...guess i'm kind of backwards, lol.
Have a good one,

Do you find that your more northern localities put themselves in brumation (or simply stop eating) earlier than the southerns?
I've been wondering about that for awhile.

...and I think to myself, "What a wonderful world."

DougH May 28, 2003 09:07 AM

Shakey, I do not have any P.sayi from southern states. However my Co. P.sayi did slow down a little during the winter months.Even though the temps remained the same. Now they are younger,2001 animals. But the pic of my Albino N.pine ,well he stopped eating ,so I turned the lights off for him durring the winter but kept in my snake room, so not a full on brumation, and did not feed him(he stopped eating anyway),then when things warmed up he got more active so I turned on the lights. So hear's the funny part

Mr. Douglass Hartman. I was wondering how everyone is doing? Are you still living near Lake Elsinore (I believe that was it)? My partner Del Alspaw has been getting out doing some roadhunting. He's picked up a few things. Are you up for any roadhunting this year Doug? I wouldn't mind touching base and seeing you again. We'll include my partner Del Alspaw this time. LOL I'd like to head out and collect a pair of Lyre snakes this year for one. I'd like to get a few more Great Basins and some other things. It's been getting nice and warm here lately.

aunteye May 28, 2003 07:08 PM

I like it! I'm more of a bull person, but that's one nice gopher.

gofer May 29, 2003 08:26 AM

Thanks for the great pic Terry. Finally I will have some locality specific animals today...not pits though...but those Gulf Hammock Rats will be here today. That town must be tiny.
Thanks again for the great pic, good luck with those guys.

Have a good one,
Gregg F.
