The Darker Rainbows, CRB's

rascal_rascal_99 Jun 17, 2012 02:40 AM

I spent about ten years in this hobby, got out around 2003, started getting back into it at the end of 2010, we all have our favorite animals for whatever reason, colombian rainbows have always been a favorite of mine and when I started the hobby back up again were one of the very first animals I picked up again.

Here's just a few shots...

I found this going on a lot in december-january...

Then there were a few months of this girl looking extra round...towards the end, I don't even think she could hardly crawl without wobbling...

May 17th I found this lovely little pile of slime

14 healthy babies...a group shot of a few of them

love these little guys!

Thanks again for looking in and hope things are going great for everyone else out there!

Congrats Charlie, they look amazing.

I have been thinking a lot about getting into the CRB but haven't pulled the trigger on it just yet.

I would definitely encourage people to pick up a pair of these if you think you have any interest at all, I know I enjoy mine. I can't really give a reason why they're one of my favorite snakes, I just know they are and for as long as I have snakes I'm pretty sure there will be crb's in my collection somewhere.

Mom is doing great, she eats for most of the whole time when she's gravid, just wants something smaller, either mice or rat pups...which if that's what she wants, I'm happy to give them to her.

I may be biased, but I do think the babies of these are as cute as just about anything else out there!
