Does anyone breed Caiman?

AdamDispenza Oct 05, 2003 09:26 AM

Hi,

All I see in herp shops are Wild Caught Caiman. Does anyone breed Caiman? I myself only have CB animals and wouldn't bother with Wild Caught. I think, wild caught should stay wild and in their natural habitat.

Yes, I breed these guys. Spectacles that is.. If you see baby spectacles in shops then mos likely they are cb being the importation of these guys are no longer in effect due to similarities with there fellow members in the south, and its been like this for quite sometime now, so yea..
I have a post I written sometime back, cant seem to find it, about me breeding techniques so you can do a search and see what ya come up with or if someone remembers it can post the link?
Also, WC specimens promote alot of capvations for many a species so excluding them isn't always a wise thing to do, also, where do you think your cb animls came from?
