Just wondering what's on your 2012 want list.
I'll be looking for a nice eastern milk snake and I'm always on the hunt for unusual thayeri or alterna.

Disclaimer: I do keep several snakes in pairs, and some in groups. However I realize that things can go wrong, and I have to keep a close eye on those groups, to be sure they are not being adversely affected by these living conditions. Also if one happens to eat it's cagemate, it is 100% my fault, and I know the risks in advance!

As many of you know, I was not going to breed any snakes this season, but my snakes had other plans.

that albino is toooooo cool. Is that a green one I see in there as well?
-----

Yes Mike, one does have a greenish tint to it. There is a great amount of variability in these guys. All of those were found within a 5 mile range.

I didn't know you had an albino Joe? Is that wild Caught? If you mentioned it before, I apologize my memory sucks! I remember a girl finding one in her yard a while back, but that was it. What an awesome find!

30 plus years ago, i wish i had known what was on the horizon! at least the memory and experience were priceless. and i still love eastern milks.

Keeping cats allows man to cohabitate with tigers. Keeping reptiles allows man to cohabitate with dinosaurs.
1.1 pure locality sinaloans (possibly already secured)
1.1 locality grey bands (not sure of the specifics yet)
more boaphile cages (i love them)
2.2 L.t. micropholis
I'm assuming of course the mates to my abnorma and hondurensis are already a done deal.
Gerry
I like the way you think.
I too plan on getting pairs of pure/locality CA and SA milks over the next few years. hopefully some of the less common ones... i like being a little different.
good luck on ecuadorians. i don't think i've ever even seen a pure one for sale.
I've lucked out big time with the SA and CA milks, managing to get locality specific and "real deal" polyzona, abnorma, hondurensis and stuarti. All great little animals, you will enjoy any of those once you get them.
The micropholis are just a pipe dream... if anyone has them in this country or Europe they are keeping very quite about it! Someday perhaps.
Gerry
Or at the very least peace here.
