Don't use size as an indicator, because it's not very accurate... will only provide a general guideline.
If it vocalizes, as mentioned, it's a male. Males tend to have more folds in the skin under their neck and more yellow or green color, but you need to compare it to other frogs to really be able to tell. It's not hard once you get the hang of it, though
