Thank you for the info. Something I Didn't know. But I'm hoping you can answer a few others than for me. What about some of the spiny and Horned lizards. Which are available and which are untouchable. Currently I have a Eastern Collard, Bearded, Uro, and a Desert Horned lizard. And what info do you know of about Collard from outside the US at one time years ago I had a S.A. Collard that was beautiful. any info would be appreciated. Thank You DC.

I don't keep any of either, but I think the *roundtail* horned lizards are offered at reptile shows. Since I no longer live in West Texas, I don't have access to a big red ant bed to feed them out of LOL. I'm not sure if any of the Sceloporus/spiny lizards are protected, look at a few earlier posts for some yarrows and emerald swifts; beautiful lizards.

The North American Crotaphytus species are the only collared lizards I fiddle with. Several other species have a collar of sorts, but are totally unrelated to the lizards *WE* call collared lizards. Someone posted some pics of a SA Collared in some earlier posts below, it looked very much like a Sceloporous relative to me.
