Introducing The Leopard Orange Dream

Lizards of Oz Jun 25, 2012 02:24 PM

I am excited to introduce what I believe to be the worlds first Leopard Orange Dream. When I first saw this gorgeous snake inside the egg my first reaction was Leopard Clown! I thought for sure that's what it was until I saw it's head. As it turns out I had my male Orange Dream lock up with my female Leopard 100% double het Pied Clown a few times towards the end of the breeding season just in case my male Leopard 100% double het Pied Clown didn't get the job done. After looking over this snake carefully and getting the Orange Dream guru (Oz) to check it out he was able to help me confirm that this is in fact a Leopard Orange Dream. So my Orange Dream got it done with one egg and was able to give me the combo. What a clutch! To top it off it's a boy.

So heres the tally for this one clutch of seven eggs.
Leopard 100% double het Pied Clown x Leopard 100% double het Pied Clown
1.0 Leopard Pied Clown
0.1 Leopard Pied 66% pos het Clown
2.2 Leopard 50% pos double het Pied Clown (these would ordinarily be 66% pos double hets, but in case the Orange Dream was the dad on these I am calling them 50% pos double hets).

Orange Dream x Leopard 100% double het Pied Clown
1.0 Leopard Orange Dream 50% pos double het Pied Clown

Thanks for looking. I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks of him.

I am very happy for you! Way to stick with the Leopard....Still so much to do with this gene. Thanks for showing us a couple of new crosses!
