Thayeri's

Tanguy6 Jun 27, 2012 05:35 AM

Hello,

been a while since I posted anything so here we go.

First time breeding thayeri's and forgot how small these critters are. Remember now feeding my breeders mousetailes 3 years ago.

Out of 8 eggs 5 emerged.
Breeders and clutch, hope you enjoy.

Cheers

Congratulations!

After they shed, try day-old pinks, frozen then thawed. That's usually the first food item that they will accept. Some hatchling thayeri will eat right away, others won't. Patience is key.

All will eat a lizard.....sceloporus, uta, med gex, skinks, etc....It's just hard to find what lizard they like sometimes.
Then scenting pinks with their lizard of choice.....

I really like those light ones. That's a great subspecies to work with.
