waxworm maintenance

bukinara Oct 05, 2003 11:34 AM

hi! i'm planning on buying a few hundred waxworms, and i need to keep them alive for a few days (no more than a week, i imagine) and i don't need them to breed or anything, just stay healthy. i've been told they need to be kept between 60-70 degrees, and i just wanted to make sure. does anyone have any tips for keeping waxworms? thanks a ton!

...
well, anyway...
i'm keeping them on top of my freezer, it's about 65 degrees there, and they seem to be doing fine...
just in case anyone else ever needs to know.
they'll be fed off in a metter of days, so i won't add in any food, i suppose they'll just eat the medium they're in.
